Butters the Cavapoo Puppy’s Backyard Session – Pittsburgh Dog Photography

Butters’ mom Nicole  warmly welcomed me into her beautiful home for this Cavapoo puppy’s backyard session this past August. With a lovely back patio, gorgeous landscaping, and plenty of space to romp and play, Nicole’s home had everything we needed to for perfect portraits!

Although Nicole admitted that Butters hasn’t brushed up on his commands or tricks, his super sweet and laid-back demeanor made capturing this adorable little guy a breeze. He was just as content to pose among the garden as he was to run wild with his doggy siblings.

Toward the end of his session, Butters took some time to cuddle up to his mama. The love he has for her is undeniable and even though Nicole had no intention of joining in for any photos, I snapped a few candid cuddles between the two of them, which ironically ended up being one of the ones Nicole ordered as a small gift print for herself. This is why I always say join in for at least a few.

At her reveal and ordering appointment, Nicole chose a gorgeous artisan wood wall art piece for above her fireplace, a few gift prints for herself, and a 10-panel album block. The photos she chose for each product couldn’t have been more perfect! What I especially love is that the image she picked for her artisan wood complements a similar custom painting of one of her other dogs, Juno, that is also displayed on the fireplace mantel.

And that album block? It’s going to be a special gift for Nicole’s mother-in-law who absolutely adores Butters. She is going to be so excited when she receives it!
