It’s not every day that I get to photograph pigs. Yes, pigs–two popcorn-obsessed, lovingly spoiled pot-bellied pigs! That said, meet five-year-old Winston.
It was a super blustery late-November afternoon for piggy photos, but Winston was a good sport, pausing in between bites of Cheerios, popcorn, and grass to give me a snout-y smile. Winston’s mom warned that he can be a bit uncertain around new people, but I’d say we got along just fine.
This past July, Winston, who already has a four-year-old and a two-year-old human sibling, became a big brother for the third time when his family brought home Cubby, a one-year-old black pot-bellied pig. Cubby was previously living with a foster family before finding his forever home. And as you can see, he is quite content there.
Somebody found a few pieces of popcorn tucked away in the nooks of this tree. Mischievousness at its finest!
