I am beyond grateful to be an instructor and coach for the Flourish Academy's Elevate Program, "designed to help photographers grow their business by getting more clients and making more money" as we work together to "design a lifestyle business that works for you while also eliminating overwhelm." My specific coaching focus within Elevate is concentrated on in-person sales, pricing, and client management software/automation.
I am also among the expert panel of pet photographers with The Pet Photographers Club and a guest instructor in the Hair of The Dog Academy.

When and where do you offer private mentoring?
In-person and Zoom mentoring for clients working on the business side are offered throughout the week. Mentoring sessions in which we will be working on photographing a pet are typically offered in the early evening.
For quick questions, 1:1 30-minute power brainstorming sessions are available via Zoom.
How much time should I book?
In-person mentoring sessions are scheduled by the hour with a two-hour minimum to allow us to begin with a solid deep dive into your business goals and how we can get you to where you want to be. Understand that if you are just starting your business or transitioning to IPS, you may need additional time or several mentoring sessions.
Have just a "quick question" or need me to briefly review pricing/products? A 1:1 30-minute power brainstorming call is perfect!
How do I schedule a time?
Contact me using the Schedule Now button above. Upon reviewing your mentoring inquiry, I will send you my online calendar to choose a mentoring time that works for you. Full payment is required to reserve your mentoring time. Payment must be made via credit/debit card when reserving your time and is processed securely via Square.
Can we just do a phone call or something virtual?
If getting together is not a possibility due to location or your schedule, I'm happy to do a Zoom call. Zoom is my preferred method over the phone as there is a different level of interaction when we can see one another face-to-face. I offer extensive deep-dives via Zoom or a quick 1:1 30-minute power brainstorming session.
Can I shadow you on an actual session?
Client sessions are focused solely on my clients and their pets, so bringing along extra bodies can be disruptive to the pets, their people, and the flow of the session, but I am happy to mentor you on the technical side of pet photography by providing a model and a pet to be photographed. We will focus on what you're looking to learn and photograph, cover posing and working with various types of pet personalities, and more. Should you desire, we can also pair this session with a Zoom editing session.
Are there other learning options?
If one-on-one mentoring sessions are not the right fit for you at this time, I highly recommend looking into the monthly Flourish Academy's membership or the free Flourish Academy Community on Facebook, both of which offer video tutorials, community support, and more geared toward hobbyists and professionals of all levels.

Here's What My Fellow Photographers Have to Say...
Truly Catered to Me
"She actually made me feel like a high-paying client because she truly catered to me, my dog, and what it was that I was most interested in learning. Jessica took the time to teach me about my camera, and she even emailed me a video about removing leashes in Photoshop. Mentoring with her helped with more than just learning about photographing pets; it helped me on my journey beginning my own business photographing all subjects. Her patience with people and their fur babies is outstanding and professional. Thank you, Jessica!" - Tracy Ann of Tracy McKee Photography
The best decision I could have made
"The mentoring I've received has been the best decision I could have made for my business! Learning from someone who provides the ultimate client experience puts you on the right path and the knowledge I've gained is worth its weight in (Bark and) Gold!" - Heather Whitehouse of Heather Whitehouse Photography
A great resource
“Jes has been a blessing to me and so many photographers. Her understanding and knowledge have been a great resource for me and my photography business!” - Michael Holl of Holl Photography
Her joy lies in helping others
"I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Jessica as a mentor. Her joy lies in helping others and that is evident by the amount of time and effort she puts into her responses regarding questions asked. Plus her jokes are da bomb!" - Myra Horner of Myra J. Horner Photography
