I am beyond grateful to be an instructor and coach for the Flourish Academy's Elevate Program, "designed to help photographers grow their business by getting more clients and making more money" as we work together to "design a lifestyle business that works for you while also eliminating overwhelm."
My specific coaching focus within Elevate is concentrated on in-person sales, pricing, and client management software/automation.

When and where do you offer private mentoring?
In-person and Zoom mentoring for clients working on the business side are offered throughout the week. For convenience with in-person meetings, I offer three meet-up locations: one in Beaver County, another in Robinson Township, and one in the South Hills.
In-person mentoring in which we will be working on photographing a pet are typically offered in the early evening during my ideal shooting times, select weekdays and Saturdays.
For quick questions, 1:1 30-minute power brainstorming sessions are available via Zoom.
Can I shadow you on an actual session?
Because my client sessions are focused solely on my clients and their pets, bringing along extra bodies is distracting to both the pets and their people and can disrupt the flow of the session. So what can we do instead?
I love the hands-on side of things and I am happy to mentor you on the shooting side of pet photography by providing a model and a pet to be photographed. We will talk specifically about what you're looking to learn and photograph prior to this session, cover posing and working with various types of pet personalities, and more. Should you desire, we can also pair this session with a Zoom editing session to learn ways to produce the best images of animals.
How much time should I book?
In-person mentoring sessions are scheduled by the hour to allow us to begin with a solid deep dive into your business goals and how we can get you to where you want to be. Understand that if you are just starting your business or transitioning to IPS, you may need additional time or several mentoring sessions.
A two-hour minimum is required for mentoring sessions when photographing a pet. This provides us sufficient shooting time and to cover session techniques.
Have just a "quick question" or need me to briefly review pricing/products? A 1:1 30-minute power brainstorming call is perfect!
How do I schedule a time?
Contact me using the button above. Full payment is required to reserve your mentoring time. Payment must be made via credit/debit card via your online invoice, which is securely processed via Square.
Once your inquiry and payment are received, you will be sent a link to my online calendar to choose a day and time that works best for you from my available times.
Can we just do a phone call?
If getting together is not a possibility due to location or your schedule, I'm happy to do a Zoom call. Zoom is my preferred method over the phone as there is a different level of interaction when we can see one another face-to-face. I offer extensive deep-dives via Zoom or a quick 1:1 30-minute power brainstorming session. Reach out using the button above to get started!

Here's What My Fellow Photographers Have to Say...
"I had a mentoring session with Jessica a few months ago. She actually made me feel like a high paying client because she truly catered to me, my dog, and what it was that I was most interested in learning. Jessica took the time to teach me about my camera, and she even emailed me a video about removing leashes in Photoshop. Mentoring with her helped with more than just learning about photographing pets; it helped me on my journey beginning my own business photographing all subjects. Her patience with people and their fur babies is outstanding and professional. Thank you, Jessica!" - Tracy Ann of Tracy McKee Photography
"The mentoring I've received has been the best decision I could have made for my business! Learning from someone who provides the ultimate client experience puts you on the right path and the knowledge I've gained is worth its weight in (Bark and) Gold!" - Heather Whitehouse of Heather Whitehouse Photography
“Jes has been a blessing to me and so many photographers. Her understanding and knowledge have been a great resource for me and my photography business!” - Michael Holl of Holl Photography
"I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Jessica as a mentor. Her joy lies in helping others and that is evident by the amount of time and effort she puts into her responses regarding questions asked. Plus her jokes are da bomb!" - Myra Horner of Myra J. Horner Photography
