My specific coaching focus within Elevate is concentrated on in-person sales, pricing, and client management software/automation.

Frequently Asked Questions
When and where do you offer private mentoring?
In-person and Zoom mentoring for clients working on the business side is offered throughout the week. Mentoring sessions in which we will be working on photographing a pet are typically offered in the early evening.
How much time should I book?
Virtual mentoring is scheduled by the hour. In-person mentoring requires a two-hour minimum to allow us to begin with a solid deep dive into your business goals and how we can get you to where you want to be. If you are just starting your business or transitioning to IPS, you may need additional time or several mentoring sessions.
How do I schedule a time?
Contact me using the Schedule Now button above. Upon reviewing your mentoring inquiry, I will send you my online calendar to choose a mentoring time that works for you. Full payment is required to reserve your mentoring time. Payment must be made via credit/debit card when reserving your time and is processed securely via Stripe.
Can we just do a phone call or something virtual?
If getting together is not a possibility due to location or your schedule, I'm happy to do a Zoom call. Zoom is my preferred method over the phone as there is a different level of interaction when we can see one another face-to-face.
Can I shadow you on an actual session?
Client sessions are focused solely on my clients and their pets, so bringing along extra bodies can be disruptive to the pets, their people, and the flow of the session, but I am happy to mentor you on the technical side of pet photography by providing a model and a pet to be photographed. We will focus on what you're looking to learn and photograph, cover posing and working with various types of pet personalities, and more. Should you desire, we can also pair this session with a Zoom editing session.
Are there other learning options?
If one-on-one mentoring sessions are not the right fit for you at this time, I highly recommend looking into the monthly Flourish Academy's membership or the free Flourish Academy Community on Facebook, both of which offer video tutorials, community support, and more geared toward hobbyists and professionals of all levels.

Here's What My Fellow Photographers Have to Say
Feeling More Confident
"I had the privilege to have a mentoring session with Jessica. I was nervous thinking I would be out of my league with her considering where I am within my business journey. Her radiant smile and pleasant voice immediately put me at ease. With her efficiency, we were able to go over several areas. I came away from our session feeling more confident and encouraged to keep on pursuing my photography dream. Thank you, Jessica!" - Melissa Taylor of Simply You Photography
Firm and straightforward advice
“Jessica is extremely knowledgeable, not only with pet photography but with the backend of running a successful and profitable photography business. She offers firm and straightforward advice on how to raise your prices and know your worth. If you're looking for a mentor to help you with any aspect of running a successful photography business, Jes has the answers!” - Kim Kracun of Fotofixation Photography
Truly Catered to Me
"She truly catered to me, my dog, and what it was that I was most interested in learning. Jessica took the time to teach me about my camera, and she even emailed me a video about removing leashes in Photoshop. Mentoring with her helped with more than just learning about photographing pets; it helped me on my journey beginning my own business photographing all subjects. Her patience with people and their fur babies is outstanding and professional. Thank you, Jessica!" - Tracy Ann of Tracy McKee Photography
A seamless process
"Jessica is an amazing photographer, but more than that, she is the most organized person I have ever met. You will have a seamless process working with Jessica; she is so kind and willing to share her time and efforts when you need her. Jes spent an hour with me, mentoring me on a bunch of business coaching issues, involving processes, workflow, and pricing, and I came away from it a better businessman for it. She is fantastic. I highly recommend working with Jessica if you have the opportunity. Thanks so much again, Jes!" - Dan Quigley of Quigley Photography
