Celebrating the Dogs We Love
Every breed has something that makes people fall in love with it. Maybe it's the Golden Retriever grin, the Boxer wiggle, or the quiet confidence of a Great Dane. Whatever it is, Breed of the Month is all about celebrating the dogs that make each breed so unforgettable.
It's Bark & Gold's way of celebrating the incredible dogs who make each breed so special and an opportunity to create meaningful artwork for the people who love them.
Each month, I'll select a one special applicant to receive exclusive Breed of the Month rewards, including a complimentary Bark & Gold portrait session (a $195 value) and a $500 artwork credit toward custom artwork.
Whether your dog is goofy, dignified, adventurous, or wonderfully one-of-a-kind, I can't wait to learn what makes him extraordinary.
It Starts with the Dog You Love
Each month, a new breed gets its turn in the spotlight. If your dog fits the bill (purebred or a mix where that breed is the primary one), send in an application and tell me his story and what makes him uniquely him for the chance to win a complimentary session and a $500 credit toward toward custom artwork.
The goal isn't simply to photograph more dogs or satisfy a creative itch. It's to create meaningful artwork that honors the incredible bond between people and the dogs who make life better every single day.
How Breed of the Month Works
1. Apply during the one-week entry period. Each month, I'll feature a different breed, and applications will be open for one week only. If your dog is the featured breed (or a mix that predominately features that breed), fill out the application below and tell me what makes him so special. I love hearing the story behind the dog who stole your heart.
2. Applications are personally reviewed. Once the application period closes, I'll carefully review every submission and select the dog chosen as that month's Breed of the Month. Selected participants will be notified by email within the following week, and the Breed of the Month selections will be celebrated on Bark & Gold's website and social media pages.
3. We create something beautiful. Selected participants will receive a complimentary Bark & Gold portrait session and a $500 artwork credit toward artwork purchases of $995 or more, including signature collections, wall art, fine art albums, and heirloom folio boxes.
From there, we'll create custom artwork that celebrates everything you love about your dog and gives you something meaningful to enjoy every single day.
Eligibility Details
- Breed of the Month winners must be a purebred or mix that predominately includes that month's featured breed.
- Breed of the Month winners will receive a complimentary Bark & Gold portrait session (valued at $195) and a $500 credit toward artwork purchases of $995 or more to use at their ordering appointment.
- Artwork is purchased separately. Prints, products, and digital files are not included in this prize.
- This prize cannot be combined with any other promotion, savings, gift certificate, or offer, and cannot be transferred.
- This prize is valid only for the terms specified. The credit cannot be redeemed for cash.
- All sessions take place within 60 days of the winner's announcement, at one of Bark & Gold's suggested locations or at a mutually agreed upon location throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. In-home and backyard sessions are not offered.
- Failure to schedule or complete the session within the required timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize.
