Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds
I'm looking for 30 senior dogs (ages 7+) from throughout the greater Pittsburgh area to feature in Bark & Gold Photography's second fundraiser coffee table book, Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds.
This beautiful collector’s edition coffee table book is dedicated to supporting Gray Paws Sanctuary.
The Details
Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds celebrates the unwavering loyalty, quiet wisdom, and profound joy our sugar-faced companions bring to our lives through expressive portraits and moving narratives that define the resilience, character, and grace of our best friend’s golden years.
- All Pittsburgh area senior dogs (ages 7+) are welcome to apply!
- A $95 registration fee* includes your custom pet photography session with Bark & Gold Photography (valued at $195) to create beautiful artwork of your senior dog and a two-image feature in Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds.
- 50% of this registration fee and 100% of book sales benefit Gray Paws Sanctuary.
- Book project sessions will be scheduled throughout 2025 at select locations within the greater Pittsburgh area.
Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds will be designed, self-published, and professionally printed by Jessica Wasik with a winter 2025 release goal.
*Your registration fee does not include any digital files, prints, or products. Prints and products, which start at $510, are purchased separately at your ordering appointment. No fee is due unless your application is formally accepted for this project.
The Experience
The Bark & Gold Photography experience is all about celebrating the joy and love between Pittsburgh pets and their people, telling your story your way through wall art, fine art albums, and other heirloom products.
During our time together, your dog has just one job: to be a dog. Toss all expectations and worries aside and allow me to capture your best friend as you know and love him while spoiling him with all kinds of tail-wagging goodness!
Within a few weeks, you'll have the opportunity to view and purchase his beautiful photos from his special day. (While the session itself is a blast, my clients tell me that this ordering appointment is actually their favorite part.) Be prepared for plenty of happy tears as you see for the first time the natural, expressive, and connected portraits he worked to create especially for you!
As a bonus, your dog will have two portraits, chosen by Bark & Gold Photography, included in the Timeless Tails: Stories of Loyalty, Laughter, and Lifelong Bonds fundraiser coffee table book, which will be available in winter 2025.
