On Saturday, Nov. 9, Petagogy’s Greensburg location hosted its annual pet photos with Santa event, again maintaining its reputation as one of the best pet-friendly Santa photo events in Pittsburgh!
More than 145 pets, including dogs, cats, and even a few ferrets came out for this annual holiday event. A complimentary, low-resolution digital image of each pet(s) and opportunities to view and purchase a variety of products, including Christmas cards, holiday ornaments, magnets, key chains, and gift prints, were made available during the event and afterwards via an online store and gallery.
For some pups, it was their first time meeting Santa and I can bet that there will be a very big stocking full of treats and toys sure to be waiting for them this year. From sweet Shelties and lovable Labs to the most gorgeous Rottweiler, we saw quite a few good boys and girls. Look at those faces!
And don’t forget about the returning customers who knew exactly how to deck the dogs in adorable bandanas, leg warmers, sweaters, and yes–even dog Santa outfits. It’s especially fun when Pittsburgh’s dog moms (and dads) get in on the festive fashions too. We saw matching pajamas, dog hair-covered sweaters, and matching buffalo plaid accessories. I think participants get more into this event year after year.

Don’t fret if you couldn’t join me at the Greensburg event; I’ll be at Petagogy’s Shadyside location on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., leaving you plenty of time to sneak in an adorable holiday portrait of your pet.
