In early June I announced that I would be partnering with one of Pittsburgh’s pit bull rescues, Hello Bully, for my first-ever limited edition studio session fundraiser. Studio 415, one of Pittsburgh’s most highly sought and premier photography studios, warmly welcomed me and the eleven dogs participating in this sold-out event into its open concept North Side space, complete with beautiful natural lighting, exposed red brick walls, unique wooden floors, and more.
In an effort to raise even more awareness and money for Hello Bully, I made a pledge to match every donation dollar-for-dollar if we could book all available session times. I am pleased to share that, through the generosity of Pittsburgh’s pet parents, that goal was achieved, and Hello Bully received a $750 donation!
A major thank-you also goes out to the local businesses that donated a little something to our goodie bags, including my friends at Curly Tail Coffee, Diamond Daisy Design, DogGone Candles, LLC, Hello Bully, Piper’s Pupcakery, and Smiling Wrigley’s Treat Shop.
Hello Bully is a non-salaried 501c3 non-profit charity, 100% volunteer developed and staffed, with the purpose “to rescue, rehabilitate, and repair the reputation of the American Pit Bull Terrier; and to provide assistance to all companion animals of underserved communities with a goal of reducing overpopulation and preserving the human–animal bond.” To learn more about Hello Bully, its adoptable dogs, and the work its incredible volunteers are doing, visit www.hellobully.com.
