Bark & Gold Photography is excited to share that its 2019 pet calendars are now available! This year’s recipient organization, Dreaming of Three, is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to charitable fundraising through its riders’ passion of horses and rodeo via its Rodeo Kids Program.
Through the generous donations of votes and calendar contest entries, Pittsburgh pet parents raised $1,523 during the contest. These contributions will help Dreaming of Three continue its Rodeo Kids Program, which takes children fighting cancer or heart disease and their families to rodeos for a memorable night for the family, and will assist the organization with providing assistance to animal rescues during disasters in the U.S.
Twenty-three entrants collected more than 1,977 individual votes over its six-week period. The pet with the highest votes was awarded the coveted cover photo for the 2019 calendar! The remaining twelve leaderboard pups were chosen to be featured as a pet of the month. All of the top 13 vote-getters also participated in a complimentary professional pet photography session with Bark & Gold Photography to capture their one-of-a-kind image for the 2019 calendar.
Gracing the 2019 cover is a goldendoodle puppy named Douglas Theodore, who racked up $380 for Dreaming of Three. His sunshiny cover image is one of his parents’ favorites, taken at one of my favorite session locations, Brady’s Run Park over the summer. His session was such a blast as I captured him running, hopping, and exploring alongside his parents.
Inside are the remaining twelve pets, which include several therapy-dogs-in-training, puppies galore, a spirited tripawd rescue, and even a beautiful barrel-racing horse. The diversity of the animals featured in this year’s calendar was a joy to see! (Be sure to keep an eye on the blog over the coming weeks to see some more from their sessions and learn more about them.)
The Dreaming of Three pet calendars start at just $20. Proceeds from the sales of it will assist Dreaming of Three with raising funds for its Rodeo Kids Program and animal rescue efforts during disasters in the U.S. Click here to purchase your 2019 Dreaming of Three pet calendar.
